Our Team
Defacto Health aggregates, organizes, and streamlines access to payer and provider data to help companies pursue innovative use cases. We believe that increased data liquidity and transparency unlocks novel uses of the data that will transform all aspects of the healthcare industry. Our team is led by provider data and interoperability veterans, who have employed healthcare data sets used by hundreds of payers and millions of providers.
- We work in collaboration with payers to ensure they are compliant with government requirements and provide constructive feedback on the data and APIs they publish.
- We collaborate with health tech innovators to understand their use cases, their current data operations, and determine whether our data, or other data, is fit for their use.

Ron is responsible for business development, partnerships, and data source evaluation at Defacto Health. He previously managed provider data and interoperability solutions at CAQH, and patient self-service and infection surveillance at Vecna Technologies.
Tarun J Theogaraj
Co-Founder
TJ is responsible for product development, data operations, and infrastructure at Defacto Health. He previously managed provider data solutions at CAQH, medication history and payer engine solutions at Dr First, and launched a risk adjustment solution at Tyrula.
